The Stoffel is an ideal starting point for leisurely walks, hiking and mountaineering. 300 km of well-groomed trails feature beautiful landscapes, sparkling lakes and spectacular panoramas. The Arosa Lenzerheide region is a paradise for mountain bikers offering downhill and flow-trail tracks as well as marked mountain bike routes. A great choice of mountain restaurants invite you to enjoy and unwind. Further attractions include the Untersee public outdoor swimming pool on the lake offering a beach volleyball court, an 18-hole golf course, a crazy golf course, tennis courts, a rope park, horse carriage rides and much more. Many of these activities are free of charge using the Arosa Card. A highlight is the Arosa Bear Sanctuary, an animal protection project of the Arosa Bear foundation and the animal welfare organisation FOUR PAWS, which opened in summer 2019. It is located right next to the mid-mountain stop of the Weisshorn cable car. From the visitors’ platform, guests can observe bears in their natural habitat roaming around the pastures, shrubs, rocks, and streams of the natural mountain landscape. Last but not least: A visit of the Heimatmuseum right opposite the Stoffel gives an insight into the development of Arosa from traditional health spa to a modern holiday destination.
